Steven Sim is the Asian correspondent and senior consultant for TalentSmart Inc, USA for over a decade – a world premier Emotional Intelligence (EQ) training provider based in San Diego, California, USA. Sim began his aviation career as a flight instructor and commercial pilot. He has trained dozens of cadet pilots for corporate and commercial flying.
Since becoming a management training consultant, Sim has coached and trained executives at all levels from different nationalities. His clients range from business owners, management to executives, spanning across industries from aviation to technology in government, local SMEs, MNCs, and Fortune 500 companies. Sim has acquired a repertoire of professional emotional intelligence, coaching, and leadership certifications.
Sim is a US/FAA licensed flight instructor and commercial pilot. He is UK/CAA and Europe/JAA certified Crew Resource Management Consultant. Locally, Sim has completed SkillsFuture Advanced Certificate in Training and Assessment (ACTA), Diploma in Adult and Continuing Education (DACE), Diploma in Leadership & People Management (DLPM), and Career Advisory Professional (CAP).
He has been awarded the applied science degree in aviation management and pilot training technology with Texas State College, master degree in communication management, master degree in human resources, and completed the professional doctorate in leadership management with Central Queensland University, Australia.
